 Free Crochet Pattern: Toothless Amigurumi


Enjoy this free crochet pattern to make an adorable Toothless the Night Fury amigurumi! The legs and body are crocheted as one continuous piece, while the arms are joined with single crochet as you work the body. The remaining pieces are made separately and sewn in place. Using the recommended yarn, your finished Toothless plush will measure approximately 21–22 cm (8.5 inches) tall.

Materials:

  • Yarn: YarnArt Dolce Baby (100% polyester; 50 g/85 m)
  • Hook size: 3.25 mm (I used Clover hook)
  • 18-20 mm safety eyes
  • A little yellow cotton yarn for a nose
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch markers
  • Sewing pins
  • Scissors
  • Fiberfill

Abbreviations:
R = row
mc = magic circle
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in the next stitch)
dec = decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)

(12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row

Assembly

  1. Sew the head to the body.
  2. Sew the ears and horns on the head (see at the photos).
  3. Make eye tightening.
  4. Embroider a nose with a yellow cotton yarn.
  5. Sew the wings onto the back of the body.
  6. Sew the tail onto the back of the body and secure the yarn.
