Mini Anne Crochet Amigurumi Pattern

I had such a great time crocheting this adorable Mini Anne doll! The steps are easy to follow, and I translated the pattern so more makers can enjoy it too. My finished doll measures approximately 9" tall using a 3.00 mm hook and medium (4) worsted weight yarn. A big thanks to the talented designer @ayse_atik for sharing this free version of Mini Anne — it was truly a pleasure to make it.

Abbreviations

  • sc = single crochet (sc)

  • inc = increase (2 sc in same stitch)

  • dec = decrease (sc 2 together)

  • slst = slip stitch (sl st)

  • dc = double crochet

  • blo = back loop only

  • flo = front loop only

Mini Anne (Little Anne Doll)

Arms (Make 2)

  1. 6 sc
    2–12. 6 sc for 11 rows
Close with 3 sc and hide the yarn end.

Legs (Make 2)

Start with brown yarn:

  1. 6 sc in magic ring

  2. (inc)*6 → (12)

  3. BLO 12 sc

  4. 12 sc

  5. 2 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc → (9)

  6. 9 sc

Change to skin color:
7. BLO 9 sc
8–14. 9 sc
Fasten off and hide yarn on first leg.
Do not cut yarn on second leg — continue with the body.

Body

Chain 3 and join the legs together with those 3 chains.
Move your stitch marker to this point (this will now be the round start).

  1. 9 sc over first leg, 3 sc over chain, 9 sc over second leg, 3 sc over chain → (24)

    16 - 21. 24 sc → (24)
    22.  (2 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (18)
    23. 18 sc
    24. (1 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (12)
    25. 1 sc, (attach arm with 3 sc), 4 sc, (attach second arm with 3 sc), 1 sc → (12)

If using wire to support the neck, insert it now.

  1. (2 sc, 1 dec)*3 → (9)
    27–28. 9 sc

    29. (inc in each st)*9 → (18)
    30. (2 sc, inc)*6 → (24)
    31. (3 sc, inc)*6 → (30)
    32. (4 sc, inc)*6 → (36)

Attach eyes between rounds 35 and 36, leaving 6 stitches apart.

33–38. 36 sc
39. (4 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (30)
40. (3 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (24)
41. (2 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (18)
42. (1 sc, 1 dec)*6 → (12)
43. 6 decreases → (6)

Fasten off, close opening with a yarn needle, and hide the end.

At the legs, using the remaining front loops from color change, make 1 round of slip stitches to define the shoes.

Hair

  1. 6 sc in magic ring

  2. (inc)*6 → (12)

  3. (1 sc, inc)*6 → (18)

  4. (2 sc, inc)*6 → (24)

  5. (3 sc, inc)*6 → (30)

  6. (4 sc, inc)*6 → (36)
    7–14. 36 sc
    Fasten off and hide yarn.

Attach the hair piece to the head.
Cut 6 strands of yarn at desired length and attach 3 on each side to create braids.

Dress (with dark brown yarn color)

(At the end of each row, chain 2 and turn to next row.)

  1. Chain 16, starting from 3rd chain from hook, make 2 dc in each stitch → (28)

  2. (1 dc, 1 dc inc)*2, skip next 6 sts, from 7th st continue:
(1 dc, 1 dc inc)*4, skip 6 sts again, from 7th st continue:
    (1 dc, 1 dc inc)*2 → (24)

  3. (3 dc, 1 dc inc)*6 → (30)
    4–7. 30 dc
Fasten off, leave yarn tail to sew back of dress.

Sleeves:
Attach yarn under the armhole — make 9 dc evenly around (1 from each side and the skipped stitches).
Work 5 rounds of dc for each sleeve and fasten off.

Apron

  1. Chain 32, starting from 3rd ch, make 30 dc.

  2. (4 dc, 1 dc inc)*6 → (36)
    3–5. 36 dc
    Fasten off and hide yarn.

Straps:

  • First strap: Chain 25, attach to first stitch of apron, chain 10.
Starting from 2nd stitch, count 12 sts on apron and attach at 12th stitch.
Chain 2, count 3 sts toward the inside of the arm and attach.
On the 10 ch you made earlier, work 10 hdc.
When you reach the end, attach next to 3rd stitch beside the first join, cut and hide yarn.

  • Second strap: Repeat same as first but mirrored on the other side.

Hat

(At the end of each round, sl st to join and chain 1 to move up.)

Using beige yarn:

  1. 6 sc in magic ring

  2. (inc)*6 → (12)

  3. (1 sc, inc)*6 → (18)
